CORDYCEPS
In the photo above you see what appears to be the shell of a caterpillar. What if I told you that it wasn't the shell but in fact the actual thing after being devoured by a fungi! Allow me to introduce you to the cordyceps, a powerful mushroom used in traditional Chinese medicine. This powerful mushroom is becoming quite the rage right now and for good reason! Lets walk through, exactly what it is, what it can do for you and where you can get some!
What is a Cordyceps?
Cordyceps is a parasite fungus that lives on certain caterpillars in the high mountain regions of China. They can be hard to get to , so most are grown in labs for medicinal purposes. The way they grow is actually quite barbaric. Cordyceps spores will land on the insect and then thespore will germinate and hyphae will begin to grow inside the insect and turn into mycelium. These things literally attach themselves to its host and then eats it from the inside. Sounds delicious, doesn't it?
What are Cordyceps good for?
Cordyceps is classified as a nootropic. In simple terms, they benefit us neurologically. As said earlier, they have been used as an ancient Chinese medicine for ages. They can be used to try and treat-
1. Kidney disorders
2. Sex hormone balancing
3. Cancer cells
4. Athletic performance
5. Cognitive/mental function.
6. They can even possible strengthen the immune system. Cordyceps might improve immunity by stimulating cells and specific chemicals in the immune system.
As you may know, I was diagnosed with hypogonadism a couple months ago. Hypogonadism is where due to certain conditions ( genetic, environmental or otherwise) that negatively effect your sex glands, which can lead to lower levels of testosterone. As part of my natural herbal supplementation, I have been taking 1,000mg of pure cordyceps powder. I will let yall in on something I have not announced yet. As of this morning I no longer have hypogonadism! I have reversed all the symptoms and my testosterone both free and total are increasing! How much did the cordyceps contribute? Based of research studies I read, it could have helped raise them anywhere from 0-30%. I will tell you I wouldn't feel comfortable taking them out of my daily routine. Now I am not diagnosing you or telling you to take this supplement. I am simply telling you what worked for me!
Where can you get Cordyceps?
They are actually not hard to find. With a rising popularity, they can be found fairly easily. I personally like getting mine from Bulk Supplements. For $16 I can get 250 grams which will last me approx 250 days. You cant beat that! I will attach a link below! Try them out and let me know if you notice any benefits. Maybe you are just missing some shrooms in your life!
