SIMPLE TACO SHELLS
These crispy shells are the perfect accompaniment to any of your favorite taco fillings! They also travel well so you can bring them to a party, or even with you to your favorite restaurant to use with fajitas!
INGREDIENTS:
4oz cheddar cheese (hand shredded)
4oz pepper jack cheese (hand shredded)
Smoked paprika
RECIPE STEPS:
Pre heat oven to 400°F
Mix grated cheeses together.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. This is important, as they might stick otherwise.
Divide cheese into four portions and shape into 6 inch circles on your cookie sheet. Sprinkle with smoked paprika (if you have it!) Depending on the size you might need two sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and you can see the edges are crispy.
Remove from over and let cool for two minutes. Then using a spatula, gently lift each shell and scrape over a large kitchen spoon or similarly handled utensil resting on two glasses.
Let shells cool and then get to filling them. This picture here is over grass-fed beef tongue tacos. Want the recipe??
Serve and enjoy!
