BRAISED BRISKET

If you can’t tell we are brisket fans here at the Keto Road and here we go with another option for preparing this fantastic cut of beef. The result is a fall apart tender tasty roast.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-5lb brisket flat

  • 1/2 cup red wine

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 TBS minced garlic

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup sugar free ketchup

RECIPE STEPS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350'F

  2. Cut brisket up into 4 inch cubes

  3. Generously coat in salt and pepper

  4. Sear on all sides in a skillet on high heat

  5. Take meat out and rest

  6. Add minced garlic to pan and stir until fragrant

  7. Deglaze pan with red wine

  8. Add broth and then pour mixture into an oven safe baking dish that will fit all of the meat

  9. Place beef in pan (Make sure the top half of the beef is not submerged)

  10. Brush the top of each piece of meat with the sugar free ketchup

  11. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 for 5hrs

  12. Serve and enjoy!
